Description: The router is possibly the simplest power tool in your shop, but when used with various router jigs, it can also become the most versatile. This class will demonstrate the thought process surrounding the construction of router jigs to accomplish specific tasks, as well as examining and discussing a number of router jigs. During the class, the instructor will show the step-by-step construction of a router jig. (At the end of the class a drawing will determine who goes home with the jig) Handouts will be provided containing the construction details of a number of router jigs, as well as suggested books on the topic.
